I like the house.... But how big is the garage?

Why do the photos only show half of the house? I came to the article to see it all, was disappointed.

It is beautiful, no doubt, but it is less of a house than a sculpture of a house , as art critic Robert Hughes said once of a famous “designer” chair.
Maybe for weekends? Otherwise, who would want to clutter those simple walls with the clobber and bric-à-brac – shelves, cupboards, wardrobes, picture frames and so on – of everyday life?
Totally unpractical to live in. Utterly gorgeous, however.
Architecture’s equivalent of the Alfa Romeo Montreal?

Pfft.. Who needs a garage when you can have the whole forest to whoarde cars.

That’s what I thought but I could totally imagine living in that house, I’m actually quite fond of the blank concrete walls. The comparison with the Alfa Romeo Montreal is on point though.

Indeed: I can also imagine (or dream of) living in that beautiful place, in the same way I can lust after a summer evening drive with the Montreal along the Autostrada del Sole.
For the day-to-day, on the other hand...
To be honest, if I ever manage to acquire a Montreal I’d probably park it in my living room.

Well I like to wrench not just hord.

For that I’d rather have that house

No, that’d be for the car you never wrench on and wipe with a diaper and never drive. The dirty filthy tools and cars torn apart could never be in a garage like that. I mean, there isn’t even tool storage.
This garage everyone knows and loves
This one is gorgeous
But mix the next two together and I be in garage haven!
